Michael P. Healy
Mr. Healy has extensive experience in restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and other special situations involving valuation. Mr. Healy has advised clients in diverse businesses including commercial products, general industrial, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, and retail, among others. Mr. Healy’s advisory work includes the following:
- Advising acquirers and sellers of both healthy and distressed companies
- Identifying, analyzing, and recommending strategic and financial alternatives and opportunities to boards of directors, special committees, and other parties-of-interest
- Preparing valuations and fairness opinions of both public and private entities
- Representing stakeholders in financial restructurings, both in-court and out-of-court
- Advising stakeholders on structuring, negotiating and refinancing various forms of debt and equity
- Structuring the financing of new businesses, corporate acquisitions and management buyouts
- Assessing economic value and operating performance at the business unit level for private and public clients
Previously, Mr. Healy held positions with Northeast Capital & Advisory and American Express’s Risk Management Group. Mr. Healy received his B.S. in Finance from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his MBA from The Lally School of Management.
