Jonathan Hopkins
Mr. Hopkins’ focus and expertise is in crisis management and corporate restructuring. Prior to joining CDG, he was a Manager at Kroll Zolfo Cooper and Vice President at Hony Capital, a billion dollar private equity firm. Mr. Hopkins has also served as interim Director of Business Development for Pilkington, PLC in China where he oversaw M&A and joint venture relations. He started his career as an Associate in Salomon Smith Barney’s/Citigroup’s Mergers & Acquisitions team.
Mr. Hopkins received his MBA from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, and holds a B.A. in Economics from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. He has lived and worked in London, Hong Kong, Shanghai and New York, and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
