Craig H. Cheng
Mr. Cheng is a Vice President at CDG and is specialized in corporate restructurings and mergers and acquisitions. Since joining the firm in 1999, Mr. Cheng has provided financial advisory services in numerous engagements involving troubled situations, strategic evaluation and implementation, and other corporate finance transactions.
Mr. Cheng has assisted financial sponsors, companies and creditors in developing and assessing restructuring alternatives, conducting operational and financial due diligence, developing and assessing financial models and corporate business plans, identifying and implementing operational and liquidity improvements, preparing valuations and debt capacity. Mr. Cheng’s experience encompasses a number of industries including manufacturing, automotive, telecommunications, healthcare, metals and consumer products.
Prior to joining CDG, Mr. Cheng interned in the Corporate Finance Group of the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi and the Private Client Group at Merrill Lynch. Mr. Cheng received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1999 where he graduated cum laude with distinction in both Economics and International Relations. Mr. Cheng is fluent in English and speaks Cantonese.
