Ronald F. Stengel
Mr. Stengel oversees CDG’s Crisis Management practice. Before Mr. Stengel came to CDG he was President and Chief Executive Officer of RF Stengel & Co., Inc., which provided crisis management and turnaround consulting services to distressed companies since 1985, and was a partner in the Reorganization Advisory Services practice of Touche Ross & Co. Mr. Stengel has been providing services to distressed companies for over 35 years and has worked in a wide variety of industries including high technology, electronics, computer supply, metal fabrication, retail, HVAC, office products and equipment, packaging, consumer products, fine jewelry, food products, environmental services, hazardous waste, metal recycling, automotive supply, specialty chemicals, cable and cable hardware, and transportation.
Mr. Stengel has served as interim Chief Executive Officer, interim Chief Operating Officer and interim Chief Restructuring Officer of many companies including but not limited to Adelphia Communications Corporation, Wolf Camera Corporation, American Pad and Paper Company, Reading China & Glass, Inc., Smith Corona Corporation, FlexTek Corporation, Towle Manufacturing, The Rytex Company, Town & Country Corporation, Global Home Products, GEO Specialty Chemicals, and Texscan Corporation. Mr. Stengel has also served as a member of the Board of Directors of a number of public and private companies. Mr. Stengel has a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania.
