Kenneth E. Adelsberg

Mr. Adelsberg joined CDG as its General Counsel and as Senior Managing Director in January of 2005.  Mr. Adelsberg has comprehensive experience advising clients in public and private mergers and acquisitions gained from over 25 years at Pillsbury Winthrop LLP.  Since joining CDG, Mr. Adelsberg has advised clients on a number of corporate restructurings and corporate acquisitions in a variety of industries including specialty chemicals, mining, publishing, apparel, aviation, technology, pharmaceutical and heavy industrial products.  He has participated in numerous engagements ranging from corporate divestitures, to leveraged buy-out transactions, controlled auction transactions, cross-border transactions, public tender offers and mergers, joint ventures, private placements, restructurings and recapitalizations, and roll-up transactions.

Mr. Adelsberg has been a frequent lecturer on many aspects of structuring, negotiating and documenting mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions.  Mr. Adelsberg graduated with High Honors from George Washington University Law School where he was a member of the Law Review, and received his BS from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
